   I’ve been wearing A Lilac A Day on and off for a few weeks now (2016). After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Egyptian Jasmine with Galbanum, which is where the fragrance really shines. That first spray gives a lovely Lilac/Freesia impression that dries down smoothly. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. This one gets my highest praise — beautiful from start to finish.

   I needed a full wearing before I made my mind up about A Lilac A Day. As it settles, Black Amber and Turkish Rose Oil come through and give it real depth. Right away I get mostly Lilac alongside Freesia, fresh and very easy to wear. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

   For a 2016 release, A Lilac A Day deserves more attention than it gets. Give it a little time and Egyptian Jasmine with Galbanum comes forward — smooth and well done. The very first sniff is crisp Lilac with Freesia peeking through, very much my kind of start. Projection stays close for the first hour, then becomes a soft, pleasant aura. Full-bottle worthy without a doubt.

   I have owned A Lilac A Day for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. The heart is the best part for me: Egyptian Jasmine and Galbanum feel carefully balanced. That first spray gives a lovely Lilac/Freesia impression that dries down smoothly. It wears beautifully in the office; I can still catch it on my scarf at the end of the day. I enjoy it when I wear it, yet I rarely think of reaching for it.

   A decant of A Lilac A Day sat in my box for weeks before I finally wore it. As it settles, Black Amber and Turkish Rose Oil come through and give it real depth. The base rests on Black Amber and Turkish Rose Oil — warm, grounded and easy to live with. It lasts through a full workday on me, which is exactly what I want. I can see its quality, but it simply is not my style.
