   I keep reaching for Purple Fig more than I expected to. The first minutes are all about Angelica with a hint of Cassis — it grabs attention without being pushy. The base rests on Cypress and Virginian Cedar — warm, grounded and easy to live with. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. Easily one of my favourite finds this season.

   A friend passed me a decant of Purple Fig (2016) and I wasn’t prepared for it. The base rests on Cypress and Virginian Cedar — warm, grounded and easy to live with. The heart is the best part for me: Fig and Galbanum feel carefully balanced. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. This one gets my highest praise — beautiful from start to finish.

   Picked up a sample of Purple Fig after reading the community buzz (2016). The drydown leans on Cypress plus Virginian Cedar and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. The opening is built around Angelica and Cassis — bright and immediately recognizable. It lasts through a full workday on me, which is exactly what I want. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.
