   A decant of Accento sat in my box for weeks before I finally wore it. Right away I get mostly Pineapple alongside Hyacinth, fresh and very easy to wear. The heart is the best part for me: Iris and Pink Pepper feel carefully balanced. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. This has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.

   XerJoff knows how to compose, and Accento (2019) is proof. The base rests on Musk and Amber — warm, grounded and easy to live with. As it settles, Musk and Amber come through and give it real depth. In cooler weather it sits closer to the skin, which I actually prefer here. Easily one of my favourite finds this season.

The heart is the best part for me: Iris and Pink Pepper feel carefully balanced. It lasts through a full workday on me, which is exactly what I want. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

   I’ve been wearing Accento on and off for a few weeks now (2019). After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Iris with Pink Pepper, which is where the fragrance really shines. That first spray gives a lovely Pineapple/Hyacinth impression that dries down smoothly. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

   Everyone keeps talking about Accento, so I finally gave it a proper test. The drydown leans on Musk plus Amber and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. Right away I get mostly Pineapple alongside Hyacinth, fresh and very easy to wear. It wears beautifully in the office; I can still catch it on my scarf at the end of the day. Worth sampling before committing to a bottle.

The opening is built around Pineapple and Hyacinth — bright and immediately recognizable. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

   I picked up Accento (2019) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The base rests on Musk and Amber — warm, grounded and easy to live with. That first spray gives a lovely Pineapple/Hyacinth impression that dries down smoothly. After a few hours it becomes a soft skin scent with a lovely trail. I can see its quality, but it simply is not my style.

As it settles, Musk and Amber come through and give it real depth. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.
