Yves Rocher knows how to compose, and Quelques Notes d’Amour (2014) is proof. That first spray gives a lovely Pink Pepper/Bergamot impression that dries down smoothly. The opening is built around Pink Pepper and Bergamot — bright and immediately recognizable. After a few hours it becomes a soft skin scent with a lovely trail. I enjoy it when I wear it, yet I rarely think of reaching for it.

Yves Rocher knows how to compose, and Quelques Notes d’Amour (2014) is proof. Give it a little time and Damask Rose with Patchouli comes forward — smooth and well done. The opening is built around Pink Pepper and Bergamot — bright and immediately recognizable. Longevity is moderate and the trail is noticeable without being loud. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

My first Yves Rocher experience was this one, Quelques Notes d’Amour (2014). The drydown leans on Benzoin plus Cedar and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. As it settles, Benzoin and Cedar come through and give it real depth. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

I have owned Quelques Notes d’Amour for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. Give it a little time and Damask Rose with Patchouli comes forward — smooth and well done. Right away I get mostly Pink Pepper alongside Bergamot, fresh and very easy to wear. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. I would happily buy a full bottle.

A friend passed me a decant of Quelques Notes d’Amour (2014) and I wasn’t prepared for it. The opening is built around Pink Pepper and Bergamot — bright and immediately recognizable. The first minutes are all about Pink Pepper with a hint of Bergamot — it grabs attention without being pushy. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

I keep reaching for Quelques Notes d’Amour more than I expected to. The drydown leans on Benzoin plus Cedar and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. The opening is built around Pink Pepper and Bergamot — bright and immediately recognizable. It lasts through a full workday on me, which is exactly what I want. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

A decant of Quelques Notes d’Amour sat in my box for weeks before I finally wore it. The base rests on Benzoin and Cedar — warm, grounded and easy to live with. The very first sniff is crisp Pink Pepper with Bergamot peeking through, very much my kind of start. In cooler weather it sits closer to the skin, which I actually prefer here. Sadly this one does not work on my skin.

Right away I get mostly Pink Pepper alongside Bergamot, fresh and very easy to wear. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. Sadly this one does not work on my skin.

A couple of wears in, Quelques Notes d’Amour has really grown on me. That first spray gives a lovely Pink Pepper/Bergamot impression that dries down smoothly. The first minutes are all about Pink Pepper with a hint of Bergamot — it grabs attention without being pushy. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. Worth sampling before committing to a bottle.

For a 2014 release, Quelques Notes d’Amour deserves more attention than it gets. The first minutes are all about Pink Pepper with a hint of Bergamot — it grabs attention without being pushy. The drydown leans on Benzoin plus Cedar and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. Worth sampling before committing to a bottle.

Give it a little time and Damask Rose with Patchouli comes forward — smooth and well done. The drydown lingers pleasantly, and I do not need to reapply at lunch. I can see its quality, but it simply is not my style.

I needed a full wearing before I made my mind up about Quelques Notes d’Amour. Give it a little time and Damask Rose with Patchouli comes forward — smooth and well done. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Damask Rose with Patchouli, which is where the fragrance really shines. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

I picked up Quelques Notes d’Amour (2014) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. That first spray gives a lovely Pink Pepper/Bergamot impression that dries down smoothly. Give it a little time and Damask Rose with Patchouli comes forward — smooth and well done. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. It is fine, but it does not stand out in my collection.

Everyone keeps talking about Quelques Notes d’Amour, so I finally gave it a proper test. The heart is the best part for me: Damask Rose and Patchouli feel carefully balanced. The base rests on Benzoin and Cedar — warm, grounded and easy to live with. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.
