   A decant of Vanille sat in my box for weeks before I finally wore it. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Vanille, which is where the fragrance really shines. The heart is the best part for me: Vanille feel carefully balanced. It wears beautifully in the office; I can still catch it on my scarf at the end of the day. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

   I picked up Vanille (2010) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Vanille, which is where the fragrance really shines. Give it a little time and Vanille comes forward — smooth and well done. Projection stays close for the first hour, then becomes a soft, pleasant aura. This has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.
