A couple of wears in, Cinéma has really grown on me. The opening is built around Almond Blossom and Clementine — bright and immediately recognizable. The drydown leans on Vanilla plus Amber and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. Projection stays close for the first hour, then becomes a soft, pleasant aura. Full-bottle worthy without a doubt.

Picked up a sample of Cinéma after reading the community buzz (2004). The drydown leans on Vanilla plus Amber and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. The opening is built around Almond Blossom and Clementine — bright and immediately recognizable. It lasts through a full workday on me, which is exactly what I want. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

I needed a full wearing before I made my mind up about Cinéma. Right away I get mostly Almond Blossom alongside Clementine, fresh and very easy to wear. The drydown leans on Vanilla plus Amber and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. It projects politely for a couple of hours, then stays close and cosy. Worth sampling before committing to a bottle.

I have owned Cinéma for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Jasmine with Peony, which is where the fragrance really shines. Give it a little time and Jasmine with Peony comes forward — smooth and well done. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. It is fine, but it does not stand out in my collection.

A friend passed me a decant of Cinéma (2004) and I wasn’t prepared for it. As it settles, Vanilla and Amber come through and give it real depth. Everyone keeps talking about Cinéma, so I finally gave it a proper test. As it settles, Vanilla and Amber come through and give it real depth. Right away I get mostly Almond Blossom alongside Clementine, fresh and very easy to wear. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. Worth sampling before committing to a bottle.

A friend passed me a decant of Cinéma (2004) and I wasn’t prepared for it. The very first sniff is crisp Almond Blossom with Clementine peeking through, very much my kind of start. The base rests on Vanilla and Amber — warm, grounded and easy to live with. It wears beautifully in the office; I can still catch it on my scarf at the end of the day. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

I’ve been wearing Cinéma on and off for a few weeks now (2004). The first minutes are all about Almond Blossom with a hint of Clementine — it grabs attention without being pushy. The drydown leans on Vanilla plus Amber and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. The drydown lingers pleasantly, and I do not need to reapply at lunch. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

I needed a full wearing before I made my mind up about Cinéma. The heart is the best part for me: Jasmine and Peony feel carefully balanced. The drydown leans on Vanilla plus Amber and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.
