   A couple of wears in, Paris has really grown on me. The opening is built around Rose and Mimosa — bright and immediately recognizable. As it settles, Iris and Heliotrope come through and give it real depth. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

   For a 1983 release, Paris deserves more attention than it gets. Right away I get mostly Rose alongside Mimosa, fresh and very easy to wear. The base rests on Iris and Heliotrope — warm, grounded and easy to live with. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. Easily one of my favourite finds this season.

   A decant of Paris sat in my box for weeks before I finally wore it. The heart is the best part for me: Rose and Violet feel carefully balanced. Right away I get mostly Rose alongside Mimosa, fresh and very easy to wear. On my skin the performance is reliable, not a beast but far from weak. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

   Everyone keeps talking about Paris, so I finally gave it a proper test. Give it a little time and Rose with Violet comes forward — smooth and well done. The drydown leans on Iris plus Heliotrope and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. It wears beautifully in the office; I can still catch it on my scarf at the end of the day. This one gets my highest praise — beautiful from start to finish.

The base rests on Iris and Heliotrope — warm, grounded and easy to live with. Projection stays close for the first hour, then becomes a soft, pleasant aura. The composition is well made but not for me.

After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Rose with Violet, which is where the fragrance really shines. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. This has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.
