   A decant of This Is Her! sat in my box for weeks before I finally wore it. The base rests on Sandalwood and Cashmere Wood — warm, grounded and easy to live with. As it settles, Sandalwood and Cashmere Wood come through and give it real depth. Two sprays are enough — it carries well without shouting. I can see its quality, but it simply is not my style.

   I keep reaching for This Is Her! more than I expected to. Right away I get mostly Pink Pepper alongside Jasmine Sambac, fresh and very easy to wear. The first minutes are all about Pink Pepper with a hint of Jasmine Sambac — it grabs attention without being pushy. Longevity is moderate and the trail is noticeable without being loud. I enjoy it when I wear it, yet I rarely think of reaching for it.

Easily one of my favourite finds this season.

After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Whipped Cream with Vanilla, which is where the fragrance really shines. The very first sniff is crisp Pink Pepper with Jasmine Sambac peeking through, very much my kind of start. In cooler weather it sits closer to the skin, which I actually prefer here. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.
