   A decant of Golden Decade sat in my box for weeks before I finally wore it. Right away I get mostly Mandarin Orange, fresh and very easy to wear. The drydown leans on Vanilla and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

As it settles, Vanilla come through and give it real depth. On my skin the performance is reliable, not a beast but far from weak. Easily one of my favourite finds this season.

The opening is built around Mandarin Orange — bright and immediately recognizable. Two sprays are enough — it carries well without shouting. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

The base rests on Vanilla — warm, grounded and easy to live with. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

   I have owned Golden Decade for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. As it settles, Vanilla come through and give it real depth. That first spray gives a lovely Mandarin Orange impression that dries down smoothly. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. This one gets my highest praise — beautiful from start to finish.

   My first Zara experience was this one, Golden Decade (2021). The heart is the best part for me: Orange Blossom and Jasmine feel carefully balanced. The first minutes are all about Mandarin Orange — it grabs attention without being pushy. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.
