I keep reaching for Camel more than I expected to. The base rests on Civet and Agarwood (Oud) β€” warm, grounded and easy to live with. The very first sniff is crisp Dried Fruits with Dates peeking through, very much my kind of start. Projection stays close for the first hour, then becomes a soft, pleasant aura. It is fine, but it does not stand out in my collection.

I have owned Camel for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. The base rests on Civet and Agarwood (Oud) β€” warm, grounded and easy to live with. As it settles, Civet and Agarwood (Oud) come through and give it real depth. It wears beautifully in the office; I can still catch it on my scarf at the end of the day. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

I have owned Camel for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. The heart is the best part for me: Myrhh and Incense feel carefully balanced. The drydown leans on Civet plus Agarwood (Oud) and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. Projection stays close for the first hour, then becomes a soft, pleasant aura. I can see its quality, but it simply is not my style.

I picked up Camel (2017) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The drydown leans on Civet plus Agarwood (Oud) and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. The very first sniff is crisp Dried Fruits with Dates peeking through, very much my kind of start. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

I’ve been wearing Camel on and off for a few weeks now (2017). The very first sniff is crisp Dried Fruits with Dates peeking through, very much my kind of start. Right away I get mostly Dried Fruits alongside Dates, fresh and very easy to wear. Projection stays close for the first hour, then becomes a soft, pleasant aura. Pleasant, though I would not call it essential.

A decant of Camel sat in my box for weeks before I finally wore it. Give it a little time and Myrhh with Incense comes forward β€” smooth and well done. Right away I get mostly Dried Fruits alongside Dates, fresh and very easy to wear. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. Pleasant, though I would not call it essential.

A couple of wears in, Camel has really grown on me. The first minutes are all about Dried Fruits with a hint of Dates β€” it grabs attention without being pushy. That first spray gives a lovely Dried Fruits/Dates impression that dries down smoothly. Two sprays are enough β€” it carries well without shouting. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

I needed a full wearing before I made my mind up about Camel. Give it a little time and Myrhh with Incense comes forward β€” smooth and well done. The drydown leans on Civet plus Agarwood (Oud) and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. It performs better in warmer weather β€” in the heat it opens up nicely. Easily one of my favourite finds this season.

My first Zoologist Perfumes experience was this one, Camel (2017). Give it a little time and Myrhh with Incense comes forward β€” smooth and well done. That first spray gives a lovely Dried Fruits/Dates impression that dries down smoothly. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. Worth sampling before committing to a bottle.

I have owned Camel for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Myrhh with Incense, which is where the fragrance really shines. Right away I get mostly Dried Fruits alongside Dates, fresh and very easy to wear. In cooler weather it sits closer to the skin, which I actually prefer here. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

Everyone keeps talking about Camel, so I finally gave it a proper test. The very first sniff is crisp Dried Fruits with Dates peeking through, very much my kind of start. Right away I get mostly Dried Fruits alongside Dates, fresh and very easy to wear. On my skin the performance is reliable, not a beast but far from weak. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.
