   A friend passed me a decant of Moth (2018) and I wasn’t prepared for it. The heart is the best part for me: Heliotrope and Iris feel carefully balanced. Give it a little time and Heliotrope with Iris comes forward — smooth and well done. It lasts through a full workday on me, which is exactly what I want. I would happily buy a full bottle.

   I’ve been wearing Moth on and off for a few weeks now (2018). The first minutes are all about Clove with a hint of Black Pepper — it grabs attention without being pushy. The very first sniff is crisp Clove with Black Pepper peeking through, very much my kind of start. On my skin the performance is reliable, not a beast but far from weak. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

   A couple of wears in, Moth has really grown on me. The heart is the best part for me: Heliotrope and Iris feel carefully balanced. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Heliotrope with Iris, which is where the fragrance really shines. In cooler weather it sits closer to the skin, which I actually prefer here. I wanted to like it more than I did.

   A decant of Moth sat in my box for weeks before I finally wore it. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Heliotrope with Iris, which is where the fragrance really shines. Right away I get mostly Clove alongside Black Pepper, fresh and very easy to wear. After a few hours it becomes a soft skin scent with a lovely trail. Pleasant, though I would not call it essential.

That first spray gives a lovely Clove/Black Pepper impression that dries down smoothly. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

As it settles, Honey and Smoke come through and give it real depth. Projection stays close for the first hour, then becomes a soft, pleasant aura. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.
