   Everyone keeps talking about Rajasthan, so I finally gave it a proper test. The first minutes are all about Pink Pepper with a hint of Lemon — it grabs attention without being pushy. Right away I get mostly Pink Pepper alongside Lemon, fresh and very easy to wear. After a few hours it becomes a soft skin scent with a lovely trail. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

   I needed a full wearing before I made my mind up about Rajasthan. The drydown leans on White Musk plus Amber and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. As it settles, White Musk and Amber come through and give it real depth. Projection stays close for the first hour, then becomes a soft, pleasant aura. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

   A friend passed me a decant of Rajasthan (2013) and I wasn’t prepared for it. The first minutes are all about Pink Pepper with a hint of Lemon — it grabs attention without being pushy. The drydown leans on White Musk plus Amber and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. In cooler weather it sits closer to the skin, which I actually prefer here. This one gets my highest praise — beautiful from start to finish.

   I keep reaching for Rajasthan more than I expected to. That first spray gives a lovely Pink Pepper/Lemon impression that dries down smoothly. Give it a little time and Mimosa with Damask Rose comes forward — smooth and well done. After a few hours it becomes a soft skin scent with a lovely trail. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

   My first Etro experience was this one, Rajasthan (2013). The heart is the best part for me: Mimosa and Damask Rose feel carefully balanced. The very first sniff is crisp Pink Pepper with Lemon peeking through, very much my kind of start. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.
