   I keep reaching for Bleu de Chanel more than I expected to. Right away I get mostly Grapefruit alongside Lemon, fresh and very easy to wear. As it settles, Incense and Cedar come through and give it real depth. Two sprays are enough — it carries well without shouting. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

   For a 2010 release, Bleu de Chanel deserves more attention than it gets. The base rests on Incense and Cedar — warm, grounded and easy to live with. The heart is the best part for me: Ginger and Nutmeg feel carefully balanced. After a few hours it becomes a soft skin scent with a lovely trail. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

   For a 2010 release, Bleu de Chanel deserves more attention than it gets. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Ginger with Nutmeg, which is where the fragrance really shines. Give it a little time and Ginger with Nutmeg comes forward — smooth and well done. It wears beautifully in the office; I can still catch it on my scarf at the end of the day. This one gets my highest praise — beautiful from start to finish.

   I picked up Bleu de Chanel (2010) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. Give it a little time and Ginger with Nutmeg comes forward — smooth and well done. The drydown leans on Incense plus Cedar and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. On my skin the performance is reliable, not a beast but far from weak. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

It is fine, but it does not stand out in my collection.
