   I picked up Starry Nights (2015) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. Give it a little time and Rose with Patchouli comes forward — smooth and well done. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Rose with Patchouli, which is where the fragrance really shines. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. This has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.

The first minutes are all about Apple with a hint of Bergamot — it grabs attention without being pushy. The very first sniff is crisp Apple with Bergamot peeking through, very much my kind of start. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

   I have owned Starry Nights for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. The very first sniff is crisp Apple with Bergamot peeking through, very much my kind of start. That first spray gives a lovely Apple/Bergamot impression that dries down smoothly. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. Sadly this one does not work on my skin.

   A friend passed me a decant of Starry Nights (2015) and I wasn’t prepared for it. The base rests on White Musk and Powdery Notes — warm, grounded and easy to live with. The very first sniff is crisp Apple with Bergamot peeking through, very much my kind of start. It projects politely for a couple of hours, then stays close and cosy. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.
