   A decant of Eau de Santal sat in my box for weeks before I finally wore it. The base rests on Sandalwood and Vanilla — warm, grounded and easy to live with. That first spray gives a lovely Cardamom/Pepper impression that dries down smoothly. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. This one gets my highest praise — beautiful from start to finish.

   I’ve been wearing Eau de Santal on and off for a few weeks now (2002). Give it a little time and Lavender with Nutmeg comes forward — smooth and well done. The base rests on Sandalwood and Vanilla — warm, grounded and easy to live with. After a few hours it becomes a soft skin scent with a lovely trail. I wanted to like it more than I did.

   Everyone keeps talking about Eau de Santal, so I finally gave it a proper test. Right away I get mostly Cardamom alongside Pepper, fresh and very easy to wear. The base rests on Sandalwood and Vanilla — warm, grounded and easy to live with. Two sprays are enough — it carries well without shouting. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

   I’ve been wearing Eau de Santal on and off for a few weeks now (2002). The very first sniff is crisp Cardamom with Pepper peeking through, very much my kind of start. The base rests on Sandalwood and Vanilla — warm, grounded and easy to live with. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. Easily one of my favourite finds this season.

   Picked up a sample of Eau de Santal after reading the community buzz (2002). The opening is built around Cardamom and Pepper — bright and immediately recognizable. The heart is the best part for me: Lavender and Nutmeg feel carefully balanced. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.
