   My first Acqua di Parma experience was this one, Acqua di Parma Iris Nobile (2006). The first minutes are all about Iris with a hint of Star Anise — it grabs attention without being pushy. The very first sniff is crisp Iris with Star Anise peeking through, very much my kind of start. It wears beautifully in the office; I can still catch it on my scarf at the end of the day. This one gets my highest praise — beautiful from start to finish.

   I picked up Acqua di Parma Iris Nobile (2006) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. As it settles, Vanilla and Amber come through and give it real depth. The first minutes are all about Iris with a hint of Star Anise — it grabs attention without being pushy. In cooler weather it sits closer to the skin, which I actually prefer here. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

   I have owned Acqua di Parma Iris Nobile for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. Give it a little time and Tuberose with Orange Blossom comes forward — smooth and well done. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Tuberose with Orange Blossom, which is where the fragrance really shines. Two sprays are enough — it carries well without shouting. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Tuberose with Orange Blossom, which is where the fragrance really shines. The drydown lingers pleasantly, and I do not need to reapply at lunch. Worth sampling before committing to a bottle.

   I have owned Acqua di Parma Iris Nobile for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. The heart is the best part for me: Tuberose and Orange Blossom feel carefully balanced. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Tuberose with Orange Blossom, which is where the fragrance really shines. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. This has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.
