   For a 2008 release, Shadow for Her deserves more attention than it gets. The opening is built around Lavender and Nectarine — bright and immediately recognizable. That first spray gives a lovely Lavender/Nectarine impression that dries down smoothly. It projects politely for a couple of hours, then stays close and cosy. This has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.

   I have owned Shadow for Her for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Patchouli with Orchid, which is where the fragrance really shines. The opening is built around Lavender and Nectarine — bright and immediately recognizable. It projects politely for a couple of hours, then stays close and cosy. Pleasant, though I would not call it essential.

   I have owned Shadow for Her for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. The first minutes are all about Lavender with a hint of Nectarine — it grabs attention without being pushy. The very first sniff is crisp Lavender with Nectarine peeking through, very much my kind of start. Two sprays are enough — it carries well without shouting. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

   I have owned Shadow for Her for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. That first spray gives a lovely Lavender/Nectarine impression that dries down smoothly. The drydown leans on Musk plus Ambergris and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. On my skin the performance is reliable, not a beast but far from weak. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

   Everyone keeps talking about Shadow for Her, so I finally gave it a proper test. The opening is built around Lavender and Nectarine — bright and immediately recognizable. The base rests on Musk and Ambergris — warm, grounded and easy to live with. It lasts through a full workday on me, which is exactly what I want. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

   I picked up Shadow for Her (2008) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. Give it a little time and Patchouli with Orchid comes forward — smooth and well done. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

   A decant of Shadow for Her sat in my box for weeks before I finally wore it. Right away I get mostly Lavender alongside Nectarine, fresh and very easy to wear. As it settles, Musk and Ambergris come through and give it real depth. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. I wanted to like it more than I did.
