   I needed a full wearing before I made my mind up about Jubilation XXV Man. The drydown leans on Opoponax plus Agarwood (Oud) and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. The base rests on Opoponax and Agarwood (Oud) — warm, grounded and easy to live with. After a few hours it becomes a soft skin scent with a lovely trail. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

   I picked up Jubilation XXV Man (2007) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The base rests on Opoponax and Agarwood (Oud) — warm, grounded and easy to live with. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Honey with Guaiac Wood, which is where the fragrance really shines. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. Sadly this one does not work on my skin.

   Everyone keeps talking about Jubilation XXV Man, so I finally gave it a proper test. The drydown leans on Opoponax plus Agarwood (Oud) and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. The very first sniff is crisp Blackberry with Olibanum peeking through, very much my kind of start. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. Worth sampling before committing to a bottle.

   Everyone keeps talking about Jubilation XXV Man, so I finally gave it a proper test. Give it a little time and Honey with Guaiac Wood comes forward — smooth and well done. As it settles, Opoponax and Agarwood (Oud) come through and give it real depth. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

   A friend passed me a decant of Jubilation XXV Man (2007) and I wasn’t prepared for it. The drydown leans on Opoponax plus Agarwood (Oud) and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. That first spray gives a lovely Blackberry/Olibanum impression that dries down smoothly. It projects politely for a couple of hours, then stays close and cosy. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.
