   I’ve been wearing R.E.M. on and off for a few weeks now (2020). That first spray gives a lovely Zefir/Caramel impression that dries down smoothly. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Lavender with Pear blossom, which is where the fragrance really shines. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

   Picked up a sample of R.E.M. after reading the community buzz (2020). Right away I get mostly Zefir alongside Caramel, fresh and very easy to wear. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Lavender with Pear blossom, which is where the fragrance really shines. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. It is fine, but it does not stand out in my collection.

   My first Ariana Grande experience was this one, R.E.M. (2020). As it settles, Musk and Tonka Bean come through and give it real depth. The drydown leans on Musk plus Tonka Bean and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. It lasts through a full workday on me, which is exactly what I want. This one gets my highest praise — beautiful from start to finish.

   I keep reaching for R.E.M. more than I expected to. The opening is built around Zefir and Caramel — bright and immediately recognizable. The first minutes are all about Zefir with a hint of Caramel — it grabs attention without being pushy. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

The very first sniff is crisp Zefir with Caramel peeking through, very much my kind of start. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

   A decant of R.E.M. sat in my box for weeks before I finally wore it. The drydown leans on Musk plus Tonka Bean and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. The base rests on Musk and Tonka Bean — warm, grounded and easy to live with. After a few hours it becomes a soft skin scent with a lovely trail. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.
