   Everyone keeps talking about Majd Al Sultan, so I finally gave it a proper test. Right away I get mostly Smoke alongside Tobacco, fresh and very easy to wear. Give it a little time and Incense with Myrrh comes forward — smooth and well done. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

   I have owned Majd Al Sultan for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. The opening is built around Smoke and Tobacco — bright and immediately recognizable. That first spray gives a lovely Smoke/Tobacco impression that dries down smoothly. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. The composition is well made but not for me.

   Picked up a sample of Majd Al Sultan after reading the community buzz (2020). Give it a little time and Incense with Myrrh comes forward — smooth and well done. The base rests on Resins and Amber — warm, grounded and easy to live with. In cooler weather it sits closer to the skin, which I actually prefer here. The composition is well made but not for me.

   I’ve been wearing Majd Al Sultan on and off for a few weeks now (2020). Give it a little time and Incense with Myrrh comes forward — smooth and well done. As it settles, Resins and Amber come through and give it real depth. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. Worth sampling before committing to a bottle.

   I picked up Majd Al Sultan (2020) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. That first spray gives a lovely Smoke/Tobacco impression that dries down smoothly. The very first sniff is crisp Smoke with Tobacco peeking through, very much my kind of start. Longevity is moderate and the trail is noticeable without being loud. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

   My first Asdaaf experience was this one, Majd Al Sultan (2020). The drydown leans on Resins plus Amber and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. As it settles, Resins and Amber come through and give it real depth. On my skin the performance is reliable, not a beast but far from weak. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

The drydown leans on Resins plus Amber and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. On my skin the performance is reliable, not a beast but far from weak. I wanted to like it more than I did.
