   Everyone keeps talking about Cedre Atlas, so I finally gave it a proper test. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Cedar with Apricot, which is where the fragrance really shines. The opening is built around Lemon and Bergamot — bright and immediately recognizable. It projects politely for a couple of hours, then stays close and cosy. This has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.

   Atelier Cologne knows how to compose, and Cedre Atlas (2015) is proof. Right away I get mostly Lemon alongside Bergamot, fresh and very easy to wear. The first minutes are all about Lemon with a hint of Bergamot — it grabs attention without being pushy. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. Easily one of my favourite finds this season.

   A friend passed me a decant of Cedre Atlas (2015) and I wasn’t prepared for it. As it settles, Vetiver and Papyrus come through and give it real depth. Right away I get mostly Lemon alongside Bergamot, fresh and very easy to wear. Two sprays are enough — it carries well without shouting. It is fine, but it does not stand out in my collection.

   A decant of Cedre Atlas sat in my box for weeks before I finally wore it. Right away I get mostly Lemon alongside Bergamot, fresh and very easy to wear. The very first sniff is crisp Lemon with Bergamot peeking through, very much my kind of start. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

   For a 2015 release, Cedre Atlas deserves more attention than it gets. Right away I get mostly Lemon alongside Bergamot, fresh and very easy to wear. The drydown leans on Vetiver plus Papyrus and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. On my skin the performance is reliable, not a beast but far from weak. I would happily buy a full bottle.

    I have owned Cedre Atlas for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. The first minutes are all about Lemon with a hint of Bergamot — it grabs attention without being pushy. The opening is built around Lemon and Bergamot — bright and immediately recognizable. Longevity is moderate and the trail is noticeable without being loud. I can see its quality, but it simply is not my style.
