   For a 2013 release, Gold Leather deserves more attention than it gets. Right away I get mostly Rum alongside Plum, fresh and very easy to wear. The first minutes are all about Rum with a hint of Plum — it grabs attention without being pushy. After a few hours it becomes a soft skin scent with a lovely trail. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

   I’ve been wearing Gold Leather on and off for a few weeks now (2013). That first spray gives a lovely Rum/Plum impression that dries down smoothly. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Eucalyptus with Artemisia, which is where the fragrance really shines. Projection stays close for the first hour, then becomes a soft, pleasant aura. It is fine, but it does not stand out in my collection.

   Picked up a sample of Gold Leather after reading the community buzz (2013). As it settles, Leather and Agarwood (Oud) come through and give it real depth. The drydown leans on Leather plus Agarwood (Oud) and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.
