   I have owned Premiere Luxe for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. The very first sniff is crisp Black Currant with Grapefruit peeking through, very much my kind of start. That first spray gives a lovely Black Currant/Grapefruit impression that dries down smoothly. The drydown lingers pleasantly, and I do not need to reapply at lunch. Worth sampling before committing to a bottle.

   A friend passed me a decant of Premiere Luxe (2013) and I wasn’t prepared for it. The first minutes are all about Black Currant with a hint of Grapefruit — it grabs attention without being pushy. The base rests on Praline and Sandalwood — warm, grounded and easy to live with. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Jasmine with Gardenia, which is where the fragrance really shines. Projection stays close for the first hour, then becomes a soft, pleasant aura. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

The first minutes are all about Black Currant with a hint of Grapefruit — it grabs attention without being pushy. On my skin the performance is reliable, not a beast but far from weak. Full-bottle worthy without a doubt.

   I picked up Premiere Luxe (2013) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The opening is built around Black Currant and Grapefruit — bright and immediately recognizable. That first spray gives a lovely Black Currant/Grapefruit impression that dries down smoothly. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. This has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.

The first minutes are all about Black Currant with a hint of Grapefruit — it grabs attention without being pushy. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. The composition is well made but not for me.

That first spray gives a lovely Black Currant/Grapefruit impression that dries down smoothly. Longevity is moderate and the trail is noticeable without being loud. Full-bottle worthy without a doubt.
