   For a 2009 release, Strictly Private deserves more attention than it gets. The first minutes are all about Pink Pepper with a hint of Juniper — it grabs attention without being pushy. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Rose with Resin, which is where the fragrance really shines. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. I would happily buy a full bottle.

   A couple of wears in, Strictly Private has really grown on me. The drydown leans on Vanilla plus Amber and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Rose with Resin, which is where the fragrance really shines. It projects politely for a couple of hours, then stays close and cosy. This one gets my highest praise — beautiful from start to finish.

   For a 2009 release, Strictly Private deserves more attention than it gets. That first spray gives a lovely Pink Pepper/Juniper impression that dries down smoothly. As it settles, Vanilla and Amber come through and give it real depth. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. Full-bottle worthy without a doubt.

   Baldessarini knows how to compose, and Strictly Private (2009) is proof. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Rose with Resin, which is where the fragrance really shines. The very first sniff is crisp Pink Pepper with Juniper peeking through, very much my kind of start. Projection stays close for the first hour, then becomes a soft, pleasant aura. Full-bottle worthy without a doubt.

   I have owned Strictly Private for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. The first minutes are all about Pink Pepper with a hint of Juniper — it grabs attention without being pushy. As it settles, Vanilla and Amber come through and give it real depth. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. I can see its quality, but it simply is not my style.

The base rests on Vanilla and Amber — warm, grounded and easy to live with. It wears beautifully in the office; I can still catch it on my scarf at the end of the day. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.
