   My first Bath & Body Works experience was this one, Winter Candy Apple (2014). Give it a little time and Cinnamon with Maple comes forward — smooth and well done. The drydown leans on Musk plus Moss and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. Worth sampling before committing to a bottle.

   I picked up Winter Candy Apple (2014) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. That first spray gives a lovely Candy apple/Orange impression that dries down smoothly. As it settles, Musk and Moss come through and give it real depth. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. This one gets my highest praise — beautiful from start to finish.

   Everyone keeps talking about Winter Candy Apple, so I finally gave it a proper test. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Cinnamon with Maple, which is where the fragrance really shines. The very first sniff is crisp Candy apple with Orange peeking through, very much my kind of start. On my skin the performance is reliable, not a beast but far from weak. Worth sampling before committing to a bottle.

The base rests on Musk and Moss — warm, grounded and easy to live with. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. The composition is well made but not for me.
