   A decant of Rise sat in my box for weeks before I finally wore it. The base rests on Cashmirwood and Musk — warm, grounded and easy to live with. The very first sniff is crisp Apricot with Bergamot peeking through, very much my kind of start. Longevity is moderate and the trail is noticeable without being loud. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

   Everyone keeps talking about Rise, so I finally gave it a proper test. The heart is the best part for me: Orchid and Jasmine Sambac feel carefully balanced. The base rests on Cashmirwood and Musk — warm, grounded and easy to live with. It projects politely for a couple of hours, then stays close and cosy. Pleasant, though I would not call it essential.

   I picked up Rise (2014) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The heart is the best part for me: Orchid and Jasmine Sambac feel carefully balanced. Give it a little time and Orchid with Jasmine Sambac comes forward — smooth and well done. It projects politely for a couple of hours, then stays close and cosy. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

   I picked up Rise (2014) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The base rests on Cashmirwood and Musk — warm, grounded and easy to live with. Right away I get mostly Apricot alongside Bergamot, fresh and very easy to wear. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. It is fine, but it does not stand out in my collection.

   Picked up a sample of Rise after reading the community buzz (2014). The opening is built around Apricot and Bergamot — bright and immediately recognizable. The drydown leans on Cashmirwood plus Musk and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. It wears beautifully in the office; I can still catch it on my scarf at the end of the day. I wanted to like it more than I did.

   A friend passed me a decant of Rise (2014) and I wasn’t prepared for it. The opening is built around Apricot and Bergamot — bright and immediately recognizable. The base rests on Cashmirwood and Musk — warm, grounded and easy to live with. It lasts through a full workday on me, which is exactly what I want. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.
