   I keep reaching for Giacinto more than I expected to. The first minutes are all about Cardamom with a hint of Green mandarin orange — it grabs attention without being pushy. Give it a little time and Nutmeg with Orange Blossom comes forward — smooth and well done. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. I wanted to like it more than I did.

   A friend passed me a decant of Giacinto (2015) and I wasn’t prepared for it. The opening is built around Cardamom and Green mandarin orange — bright and immediately recognizable. Give it a little time and Nutmeg with Orange Blossom comes forward — smooth and well done. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

   I’ve been wearing Giacinto on and off for a few weeks now (2015). That first spray gives a lovely Cardamom/Green mandarin orange impression that dries down smoothly. Right away I get mostly Cardamom alongside Green mandarin orange, fresh and very easy to wear. It lasts through a full workday on me, which is exactly what I want. Full-bottle worthy without a doubt.
