   My first Britney Spears experience was this one, Curious (2004). Give it a little time and Jasmine with Tuberose comes forward — smooth and well done. The base rests on Musk and Vanilla — warm, grounded and easy to live with. Two sprays are enough — it carries well without shouting. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

The drydown leans on Musk plus Vanilla and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. Two sprays are enough — it carries well without shouting. I enjoy it when I wear it, yet I rarely think of reaching for it.

As it settles, Musk and Vanilla come through and give it real depth. Longevity is moderate and the trail is noticeable without being loud. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

   A friend passed me a decant of Curious (2004) and I wasn’t prepared for it. Right away I get mostly Magnolia alongside Pear, fresh and very easy to wear. The opening is built around Magnolia and Pear — bright and immediately recognizable. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

As it settles, Musk and Vanilla come through and give it real depth. In cooler weather it sits closer to the skin, which I actually prefer here. This one gets my highest praise — beautiful from start to finish.

The very first sniff is crisp Magnolia with Pear peeking through, very much my kind of start. The drydown lingers pleasantly, and I do not need to reapply at lunch. Sadly this one does not work on my skin.
