   Salvatore Ferragamo knows how to compose, and Attimo (2010) is proof. That first spray gives a lovely Pear/Lotus impression that dries down smoothly. Right away I get mostly Pear alongside Lotus, fresh and very easy to wear. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. This one gets my highest praise — beautiful from start to finish.

   I picked up Attimo (2010) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. That first spray gives a lovely Pear/Lotus impression that dries down smoothly. The opening is built around Pear and Lotus — bright and immediately recognizable. After a few hours it becomes a soft skin scent with a lovely trail. Easily one of my favourite finds this season.

   A couple of wears in, Attimo has really grown on me. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Gardenia with Peony, which is where the fragrance really shines. Right away I get mostly Pear alongside Lotus, fresh and very easy to wear. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. I would happily buy a full bottle.

I enjoy it when I wear it, yet I rarely think of reaching for it.

A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

   I keep reaching for Attimo more than I expected to. The very first sniff is crisp Pear with Lotus peeking through, very much my kind of start. The first minutes are all about Pear with a hint of Lotus — it grabs attention without being pushy. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.
