   I needed a full wearing before I made my mind up about Hero Eau de Parfum. Right away I get mostly Pine needles alongside Olibanum, fresh and very easy to wear. The first minutes are all about Pine needles with a hint of Olibanum — it grabs attention without being pushy. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. Sadly this one does not work on my skin.

   A decant of Hero Eau de Parfum sat in my box for weeks before I finally wore it. As it settles, Atlas Cedar and Himalayan Cedar come through and give it real depth. Give it a little time and Benzoin with Incense comes forward — smooth and well done. It lasts through a full workday on me, which is exactly what I want. Sadly this one does not work on my skin.

   Everyone keeps talking about Hero Eau de Parfum, so I finally gave it a proper test. As it settles, Atlas Cedar and Himalayan Cedar come through and give it real depth. The very first sniff is crisp Pine needles with Olibanum peeking through, very much my kind of start. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

   I’ve been wearing Hero Eau de Parfum on and off for a few weeks now (2022). As it settles, Atlas Cedar and Himalayan Cedar come through and give it real depth. The drydown leans on Atlas Cedar plus Himalayan Cedar and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. This has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.

   Burberry knows how to compose, and Hero Eau de Parfum (2022) is proof. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Benzoin with Incense, which is where the fragrance really shines. The opening is built around Pine needles and Olibanum — bright and immediately recognizable. It projects politely for a couple of hours, then stays close and cosy. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

As it settles, Atlas Cedar and Himalayan Cedar come through and give it real depth. In cooler weather it sits closer to the skin, which I actually prefer here. The composition is well made but not for me.

That first spray gives a lovely Pine needles/Olibanum impression that dries down smoothly. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. This has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.

   I have owned Hero Eau de Parfum for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. The opening is built around Pine needles and Olibanum — bright and immediately recognizable. As it settles, Atlas Cedar and Himalayan Cedar come through and give it real depth. On my skin the performance is reliable, not a beast but far from weak. Easily one of my favourite finds this season.

   For a 2022 release, Hero Eau de Parfum deserves more attention than it gets. The heart is the best part for me: Benzoin and Incense feel carefully balanced. The opening is built around Pine needles and Olibanum — bright and immediately recognizable. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.
