   Everyone keeps talking about Splendida – Iris d’Or, so I finally gave it a proper test. The base rests on Violet Leaf and Orris — warm, grounded and easy to live with. As it settles, Violet Leaf and Orris come through and give it real depth. It wears beautifully in the office; I can still catch it on my scarf at the end of the day. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

   I have owned Splendida – Iris d’Or for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. Right away I get mostly Green Notes alongside Bergamot, fresh and very easy to wear. That first spray gives a lovely Green Notes/Bergamot impression that dries down smoothly. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. I wanted to like it more than I did.

   I’ve been wearing Splendida – Iris d’Or on and off for a few weeks now (2017). The base rests on Violet Leaf and Orris — warm, grounded and easy to live with. The very first sniff is crisp Green Notes with Bergamot peeking through, very much my kind of start. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

   Everyone keeps talking about Splendida – Iris d’Or, so I finally gave it a proper test. The base rests on Violet Leaf and Orris — warm, grounded and easy to live with. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Iris with Mimosa, which is where the fragrance really shines. It projects politely for a couple of hours, then stays close and cosy. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

   I picked up Splendida – Iris d’Or (2017) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. That first spray gives a lovely Green Notes/Bergamot impression that dries down smoothly. Right away I get mostly Green Notes alongside Bergamot, fresh and very easy to wear. On my skin the performance is reliable, not a beast but far from weak. Pleasant, though I would not call it essential.

   Picked up a sample of Splendida – Iris d’Or after reading the community buzz (2017). The heart is the best part for me: Iris and Mimosa feel carefully balanced. Right away I get mostly Green Notes alongside Bergamot, fresh and very easy to wear. After a few hours it becomes a soft skin scent with a lovely trail. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.
