   Picked up a sample of Oud Immortel after reading the community buzz (2010). The heart is the best part for me: Agarwood (Oud) and Patchouli feel carefully balanced. As it settles, oak moss and Tobacco come through and give it real depth. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. Full-bottle worthy without a doubt.

   A friend passed me a decant of Oud Immortel (2010) and I wasn’t prepared for it. The base rests on oak moss and Tobacco — warm, grounded and easy to live with. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Agarwood (Oud) with Patchouli, which is where the fragrance really shines. Two sprays are enough — it carries well without shouting. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

   My first Byredo experience was this one, Oud Immortel (2010). The very first sniff is crisp Limoncello with Incense peeking through, very much my kind of start. The base rests on oak moss and Tobacco — warm, grounded and easy to live with. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. This one gets my highest praise — beautiful from start to finish.

   Byredo knows how to compose, and Oud Immortel (2010) is proof. The drydown leans on oak moss plus Tobacco and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. The opening is built around Limoncello and Incense — bright and immediately recognizable. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

   Picked up a sample of Oud Immortel after reading the community buzz (2010). Right away I get mostly Limoncello alongside Incense, fresh and very easy to wear. The heart is the best part for me: Agarwood (Oud) and Patchouli feel carefully balanced. It wears beautifully in the office; I can still catch it on my scarf at the end of the day. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

   I keep reaching for Oud Immortel more than I expected to. That first spray gives a lovely Limoncello/Incense impression that dries down smoothly. Right away I get mostly Limoncello alongside Incense, fresh and very easy to wear. In cooler weather it sits closer to the skin, which I actually prefer here. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

   I picked up Oud Immortel (2010) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The drydown leans on oak moss plus Tobacco and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Agarwood (Oud) with Patchouli, which is where the fragrance really shines. Longevity is moderate and the trail is noticeable without being loud. The composition is well made but not for me.
