   Everyone keeps talking about La Bomba, so I finally gave it a proper test. The opening is built around Pitahaya — bright and immediately recognizable. The very first sniff is crisp Pitahaya, very much my kind of start. After a few hours it becomes a soft skin scent with a lovely trail. Easily one of my favourite finds this season.

   A friend passed me a decant of La Bomba (2025) and I wasn’t prepared for it. As it settles, Vanilla and Patchouli come through and give it real depth. That first spray gives a lovely Pitahaya impression that dries down smoothly. Projection stays close for the first hour, then becomes a soft, pleasant aura. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

The very first sniff is crisp Pitahaya, very much my kind of start. On my skin the performance is reliable, not a beast but far from weak. Sadly this one does not work on my skin.

   A decant of La Bomba sat in my box for weeks before I finally wore it. The heart is the best part for me: Frangipani and Red Peony feel carefully balanced. Give it a little time and Frangipani with Red Peony comes forward — smooth and well done. It wears beautifully in the office; I can still catch it on my scarf at the end of the day. This has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.

   I have owned La Bomba for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. The drydown leans on Vanilla plus Patchouli and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. The opening is built around Pitahaya — bright and immediately recognizable. The drydown lingers pleasantly, and I do not need to reapply at lunch. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

   Picked up a sample of La Bomba after reading the community buzz (2025). Right away I get mostly Pitahaya, fresh and very easy to wear. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Frangipani with Red Peony, which is where the fragrance really shines. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. I would happily buy a full bottle.
