I needed a full wearing before I made my mind up about Coco Eau de Parfum. The very first sniff is crisp Bulgarian Rose with Coriander peeking through, very much my kind of start. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Cloves with Rose, which is where the fragrance really shines. It projects politely for a couple of hours, then stays close and cosy. This has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.

For a 1984 release, Coco Eau de Parfum deserves more attention than it gets. The first minutes are all about Bulgarian Rose with a hint of Coriander β€” it grabs attention without being pushy. The opening is built around Bulgarian Rose and Coriander β€” bright and immediately recognizable. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. I would happily buy a full bottle.

I keep reaching for Coco Eau de Parfum more than I expected to. The first minutes are all about Bulgarian Rose with a hint of Coriander β€” it grabs attention without being pushy. Give it a little time and Cloves with Rose comes forward β€” smooth and well done. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. This has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.

A couple of wears in, Coco Eau de Parfum has really grown on me. The first minutes are all about Bulgarian Rose with a hint of Coriander β€” it grabs attention without being pushy. The drydown leans on Amber plus Sandalwood and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. It lasts through a full workday on me, which is exactly what I want. Sadly this one does not work on my skin.

My first Chanel experience was this one, Coco Eau de Parfum (1984). That first spray gives a lovely Bulgarian Rose/Coriander impression that dries down smoothly. The drydown leans on Amber plus Sandalwood and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. In cooler weather it sits closer to the skin, which I actually prefer here. This one gets my highest praise β€” beautiful from start to finish.

I have owned Coco Eau de Parfum for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. Give it a little time and Cloves with Rose comes forward β€” smooth and well done. The opening is built around Bulgarian Rose and Coriander β€” bright and immediately recognizable. The drydown lingers pleasantly, and I do not need to reapply at lunch. The composition is well made but not for me.

I’ve been wearing Coco Eau de Parfum on and off for a few weeks now (1984). The base rests on Amber and Sandalwood β€” warm, grounded and easy to live with. Give it a little time and Cloves with Rose comes forward β€” smooth and well done. Two sprays are enough β€” it carries well without shouting. I enjoy it when I wear it, yet I rarely think of reaching for it.

Chanel knows how to compose, and Coco Eau de Parfum (1984) is proof. That first spray gives a lovely Bulgarian Rose/Coriander impression that dries down smoothly. The opening is built around Bulgarian Rose and Coriander β€” bright and immediately recognizable. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

The drydown leans on Amber plus Sandalwood and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. Longevity is moderate and the trail is noticeable without being loud. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

A friend passed me a decant of Coco Eau de Parfum (1984) and I wasn’t prepared for it. That first spray gives a lovely Bulgarian Rose/Coriander impression that dries down smoothly. The base rests on Amber and Sandalwood β€” warm, grounded and easy to live with. It wears beautifully in the office; I can still catch it on my scarf at the end of the day. I can see its quality, but it simply is not my style.

Right away I get mostly Bulgarian Rose alongside Coriander, fresh and very easy to wear. On my skin the performance is reliable, not a beast but far from weak. Picked up a sample of Coco Eau de Parfum after reading the community buzz (1984). The first minutes are all about Bulgarian Rose with a hint of Coriander β€” it grabs attention without being pushy. As it settles, Amber and Sandalwood come through and give it real depth. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. Full-bottle worthy without a doubt.
