   My first Chanel experience was this one, Coco Eau de Toilette. Give it a little time and Cloves with Rose comes forward — smooth and well done. As it settles, Sandalwood and Amber come through and give it real depth. The drydown lingers pleasantly, and I do not need to reapply at lunch. This one gets my highest praise — beautiful from start to finish.

   I needed a full wearing before I made my mind up about Coco Eau de Toilette. Give it a little time and Cloves with Rose comes forward — smooth and well done. That first spray gives a lovely Bulgarian Rose/Coriander impression that dries down smoothly. In cooler weather it sits closer to the skin, which I actually prefer here. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

   Everyone keeps talking about Coco Eau de Toilette, so I finally gave it a proper test. The heart is the best part for me: Cloves and Rose feel carefully balanced. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Cloves with Rose, which is where the fragrance really shines. Projection stays close for the first hour, then becomes a soft, pleasant aura. This one gets my highest praise — beautiful from start to finish.

After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Cloves with Rose, which is where the fragrance really shines. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. The composition is well made but not for me.
