   I needed a full wearing before I made my mind up about Love,. As it settles, Powdery Notes and Rice come through and give it real depth. The drydown leans on Powdery Notes plus Rice and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. After a few hours it becomes a soft skin scent with a lovely trail. Worth sampling before committing to a bottle.

   I’ve been wearing Love, on and off for a few weeks now (2010). The first minutes are all about Pink Pepper with a hint of African Orange Flower — it grabs attention without being pushy. As it settles, Powdery Notes and Rice come through and give it real depth. On my skin the performance is reliable, not a beast but far from weak. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

   A friend passed me a decant of Love, (2010) and I wasn’t prepared for it. The very first sniff is crisp Pink Pepper with African Orange Flower peeking through, very much my kind of start. The heart is the best part for me: Iris and Lilac feel carefully balanced. Projection stays close for the first hour, then becomes a soft, pleasant aura. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

   Everyone keeps talking about Love,, so I finally gave it a proper test. As it settles, Powdery Notes and Rice come through and give it real depth. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Iris with Lilac, which is where the fragrance really shines. On my skin the performance is reliable, not a beast but far from weak. I can see its quality, but it simply is not my style.

   For a 2010 release, Love, deserves more attention than it gets. The drydown leans on Powdery Notes plus Rice and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. Right away I get mostly Pink Pepper alongside African Orange Flower, fresh and very easy to wear. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. I enjoy it when I wear it, yet I rarely think of reaching for it.

The very first sniff is crisp Pink Pepper with African Orange Flower peeking through, very much my kind of start. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. Full-bottle worthy without a doubt.

That first spray gives a lovely Pink Pepper/African Orange Flower impression that dries down smoothly. In cooler weather it sits closer to the skin, which I actually prefer here. Sadly this one does not work on my skin.
