   A friend passed me a decant of Madly Kenzo! (2011) and I wasn’t prepared for it. The base rests on Virginia Cedar and Musk — warm, grounded and easy to live with. As it settles, Virginia Cedar and Musk come through and give it real depth. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. I enjoy it when I wear it, yet I rarely think of reaching for it.

   Everyone keeps talking about Madly Kenzo!, so I finally gave it a proper test. The very first sniff is crisp Pink Pepper with African Orange Flower peeking through, very much my kind of start. As it settles, Virginia Cedar and Musk come through and give it real depth. After a few hours it becomes a soft skin scent with a lovely trail. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

Easily one of my favourite finds this season.

Right away I get mostly Pink Pepper alongside African Orange Flower, fresh and very easy to wear. It projects politely for a couple of hours, then stays close and cosy. Worth sampling before committing to a bottle.

Right away I get mostly Pink Pepper alongside African Orange Flower, fresh and very easy to wear. In cooler weather it sits closer to the skin, which I actually prefer here. The composition is well made but not for me.
