   A couple of wears in, Viking Cologne has really grown on me. As it settles, Vetiver and Cedar come through and give it real depth. The heart is the best part for me: Lavender and Geranium feel carefully balanced. It lasts through a full workday on me, which is exactly what I want. I wanted to like it more than I did.

   A couple of wears in, Viking Cologne has really grown on me. Give it a little time and Lavender with Geranium comes forward — smooth and well done. The heart is the best part for me: Lavender and Geranium feel carefully balanced. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

   I picked up Viking Cologne (2021) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The opening is built around Mandarin Orange and Lemon — bright and immediately recognizable. The heart is the best part for me: Lavender and Geranium feel carefully balanced. On my skin the performance is reliable, not a beast but far from weak. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

   Picked up a sample of Viking Cologne after reading the community buzz (2021). Right away I get mostly Mandarin Orange alongside Lemon, fresh and very easy to wear. The first minutes are all about Mandarin Orange with a hint of Lemon — it grabs attention without being pushy. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

   A friend passed me a decant of Viking Cologne (2021) and I wasn’t prepared for it. The opening is built around Mandarin Orange and Lemon — bright and immediately recognizable. That first spray gives a lovely Mandarin Orange/Lemon impression that dries down smoothly. It wears beautifully in the office; I can still catch it on my scarf at the end of the day. It is fine, but it does not stand out in my collection.

   I have owned Viking Cologne for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. The opening is built around Mandarin Orange and Lemon — bright and immediately recognizable. The very first sniff is crisp Mandarin Orange with Lemon peeking through, very much my kind of start. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. I enjoy it when I wear it, yet I rarely think of reaching for it.

   I have owned Viking Cologne for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. The very first sniff is crisp Mandarin Orange with Lemon peeking through, very much my kind of start. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Lavender with Geranium, which is where the fragrance really shines. The drydown lingers pleasantly, and I do not need to reapply at lunch. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

   I needed a full wearing before I made my mind up about Viking Cologne. Right away I get mostly Mandarin Orange alongside Lemon, fresh and very easy to wear. The very first sniff is crisp Mandarin Orange with Lemon peeking through, very much my kind of start. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. This has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.

    Everyone keeps talking about Viking Cologne, so I finally gave it a proper test. As it settles, Vetiver and Cedar come through and give it real depth. The drydown leans on Vetiver plus Cedar and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. Easily one of my favourite finds this season.
