   I’ve been wearing Dior Addict Eau Fraiche 2012 on and off for a few weeks now (2012). The base rests on Musk and Woodsy Notes — warm, grounded and easy to live with. The drydown leans on Musk plus Woodsy Notes and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. It lasts through a full workday on me, which is exactly what I want. This has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.

   A friend passed me a decant of Dior Addict Eau Fraiche 2012 (2012) and I wasn’t prepared for it. The very first sniff is crisp Grapefruit with Bergamot peeking through, very much my kind of start. The base rests on Musk and Woodsy Notes — warm, grounded and easy to live with. In cooler weather it sits closer to the skin, which I actually prefer here. I enjoy it when I wear it, yet I rarely think of reaching for it.

   I have owned Dior Addict Eau Fraiche 2012 for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. As it settles, Musk and Woodsy Notes come through and give it real depth. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Lotus with Pomegranate, which is where the fragrance really shines. The drydown lingers pleasantly, and I do not need to reapply at lunch. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

   Dior knows how to compose, and Dior Addict Eau Fraiche 2012 (2012) is proof. That first spray gives a lovely Grapefruit/Bergamot impression that dries down smoothly. Give it a little time and Lotus with Pomegranate comes forward — smooth and well done. It wears beautifully in the office; I can still catch it on my scarf at the end of the day. This one gets my highest praise — beautiful from start to finish.
