   A friend passed me a decant of Forever and ever (2002) and I wasn’t prepared for it. The heart is the best part for me: Rose and Almond Blossom feel carefully balanced. Right away I get mostly Freesia alongside Water Jasmine, fresh and very easy to wear. After a few hours it becomes a soft skin scent with a lovely trail. I can see its quality, but it simply is not my style.

   My first Dior experience was this one, Forever and ever (2002). The heart is the best part for me: Rose and Almond Blossom feel carefully balanced. The base rests on Nutmeg and Musk — warm, grounded and easy to live with. Two sprays are enough — it carries well without shouting. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

   I’ve been wearing Forever and ever on and off for a few weeks now (2002). After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Rose with Almond Blossom, which is where the fragrance really shines. The first minutes are all about Freesia with a hint of Water Jasmine — it grabs attention without being pushy. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. It is fine, but it does not stand out in my collection.

The first minutes are all about Freesia with a hint of Water Jasmine — it grabs attention without being pushy. Two sprays are enough — it carries well without shouting. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

As it settles, Nutmeg and Musk come through and give it real depth. On my skin the performance is reliable, not a beast but far from weak. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.
