   I picked up Myth (2016) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Pink Lotus with Jasmine, which is where the fragrance really shines. The base rests on Musk and White Cedar Extract — warm, grounded and easy to live with. Projection stays close for the first hour, then becomes a soft, pleasant aura. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

   A decant of Myth sat in my box for weeks before I finally wore it. That first spray gives a lovely Ambrette (Musk Mallow)/Bergamot impression that dries down smoothly. Give it a little time and Pink Lotus with Jasmine comes forward — smooth and well done. It projects politely for a couple of hours, then stays close and cosy. I would happily buy a full bottle.

The opening is built around Ambrette (Musk Mallow) and Bergamot — bright and immediately recognizable. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. Easily one of my favourite finds this season.

The heart is the best part for me: Pink Lotus and Jasmine feel carefully balanced. After a few hours it becomes a soft skin scent with a lovely trail. Sadly this one does not work on my skin.

   I have owned Myth for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. The first minutes are all about Ambrette (Musk Mallow) with a hint of Bergamot — it grabs attention without being pushy. That first spray gives a lovely Ambrette (Musk Mallow)/Bergamot impression that dries down smoothly. The drydown lingers pleasantly, and I do not need to reapply at lunch. I can see its quality, but it simply is not my style.
