   I have owned Sun Fruit for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Jasmine with Orange Blossom, which is where the fragrance really shines. The heart is the best part for me: Jasmine and Orange Blossom feel carefully balanced. It lasts through a full workday on me, which is exactly what I want. The composition is well made but not for me.

   My first Ellis Brooklyn experience was this one, Sun Fruit (2022). As it settles, Coconut and Musk come through and give it real depth. The heart is the best part for me: Jasmine and Orange Blossom feel carefully balanced. Longevity is moderate and the trail is noticeable without being loud. Easily one of my favourite finds this season.

   A friend passed me a decant of Sun Fruit (2022) and I wasn’t prepared for it. That first spray gives a lovely Pear/Fig impression that dries down smoothly. Right away I get mostly Pear alongside Fig, fresh and very easy to wear. The drydown lingers pleasantly, and I do not need to reapply at lunch. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

Right away I get mostly Pear alongside Fig, fresh and very easy to wear. Two sprays are enough — it carries well without shouting. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

   Picked up a sample of Sun Fruit after reading the community buzz (2022). The first minutes are all about Pear with a hint of Fig — it grabs attention without being pushy. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Jasmine with Orange Blossom, which is where the fragrance really shines. On my skin the performance is reliable, not a beast but far from weak. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

The drydown leans on Coconut plus Musk and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. Projection stays close for the first hour, then becomes a soft, pleasant aura. I wanted to like it more than I did.
