   I keep reaching for Desire Me more than I expected to. The very first sniff is crisp Citruses with Mandarin Orange peeking through, very much my kind of start. That first spray gives a lovely Citruses/Mandarin Orange impression that dries down smoothly. Projection stays close for the first hour, then becomes a soft, pleasant aura. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

Give it a little time and Green Notes with Peony comes forward — smooth and well done. On my skin the performance is reliable, not a beast but far from weak. The composition is well made but not for me.

Easily one of my favourite finds this season.

   I needed a full wearing before I made my mind up about Desire Me. The heart is the best part for me: Green Notes and Peony feel carefully balanced. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Green Notes with Peony, which is where the fragrance really shines. It lasts through a full workday on me, which is exactly what I want. I enjoy it when I wear it, yet I rarely think of reaching for it.

   My first Escada experience was this one, Desire Me (2009). After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Green Notes with Peony, which is where the fragrance really shines. The first minutes are all about Citruses with a hint of Mandarin Orange — it grabs attention without being pushy. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. This has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.

Give it a little time and Green Notes with Peony comes forward — smooth and well done. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. I wanted to like it more than I did.

The drydown leans on Coffee plus Dark Chocolate and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. The drydown lingers pleasantly, and I do not need to reapply at lunch. I would happily buy a full bottle.
