   I keep reaching for Clean Suede more than I expected to. The first minutes are all about Aldehydes with a hint of Lemon — it grabs attention without being pushy. That first spray gives a lovely Aldehydes/Lemon impression that dries down smoothly. It lasts through a full workday on me, which is exactly what I want. Easily one of my favourite finds this season.

   A decant of Clean Suede sat in my box for weeks before I finally wore it. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Birch with Pine, which is where the fragrance really shines. The very first sniff is crisp Aldehydes with Lemon peeking through, very much my kind of start. After a few hours it becomes a soft skin scent with a lovely trail. I would happily buy a full bottle.

   I needed a full wearing before I made my mind up about Clean Suede. Give it a little time and Birch with Pine comes forward — smooth and well done. The base rests on Suede and Vanilla — warm, grounded and easy to live with. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

   Picked up a sample of Clean Suede after reading the community buzz (2023). After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Birch with Pine, which is where the fragrance really shines. The opening is built around Aldehydes and Lemon — bright and immediately recognizable. On my skin the performance is reliable, not a beast but far from weak. Sadly this one does not work on my skin.

Right away I get mostly Aldehydes alongside Lemon, fresh and very easy to wear. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. I can see its quality, but it simply is not my style.
