   I keep reaching for Penguin more than I expected to. As it settles, Suede and Moss come through and give it real depth. The base rests on Suede and Moss — warm, grounded and easy to live with. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. Full-bottle worthy without a doubt.

   Zoologist Perfumes knows how to compose, and Penguin (2024) is proof. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Pink Pepper with Saffron, which is where the fragrance really shines. The drydown leans on Suede plus Moss and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

   A friend passed me a decant of Penguin (2024) and I wasn’t prepared for it. The first minutes are all about Ozonic notes with a hint of Ice — it grabs attention without being pushy. Give it a little time and Pink Pepper with Saffron comes forward — smooth and well done. After a few hours it becomes a soft skin scent with a lovely trail. Pleasant, though I would not call it essential.

   I’ve been wearing Penguin on and off for a few weeks now (2024). The heart is the best part for me: Pink Pepper and Saffron feel carefully balanced. Give it a little time and Pink Pepper with Saffron comes forward — smooth and well done. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. I enjoy it when I wear it, yet I rarely think of reaching for it.

   I picked up Penguin (2024) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The opening is built around Ozonic notes and Ice — bright and immediately recognizable. The base rests on Suede and Moss — warm, grounded and easy to live with. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

   I have owned Penguin for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. That first spray gives a lovely Ozonic notes/Ice impression that dries down smoothly. Right away I get mostly Ozonic notes alongside Ice, fresh and very easy to wear. Projection stays close for the first hour, then becomes a soft, pleasant aura. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

    A decant of Penguin sat in my box for weeks before I finally wore it. The very first sniff is crisp Ozonic notes with Ice peeking through, very much my kind of start. The heart is the best part for me: Pink Pepper and Saffron feel carefully balanced. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.
