   I needed a full wearing before I made my mind up about Sugar. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Caramel with Vanilla, which is where the fragrance really shines. Right away I get mostly Marshmallow alongside Honey, fresh and very easy to wear. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. This has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.

   For a 2017 release, Sugar deserves more attention than it gets. Give it a little time and Caramel with Vanilla comes forward — smooth and well done. The base rests on Orange Blossom and White Musk — warm, grounded and easy to live with. After a few hours it becomes a soft skin scent with a lovely trail. Easily one of my favourite finds this season.

   I needed a full wearing before I made my mind up about Sugar. The very first sniff is crisp Marshmallow with Honey peeking through, very much my kind of start. Right away I get mostly Marshmallow alongside Honey, fresh and very easy to wear. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

   I’ve been wearing Sugar on and off for a few weeks now (2017). As it settles, Orange Blossom and White Musk come through and give it real depth. The drydown leans on Orange Blossom plus White Musk and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. In cooler weather it sits closer to the skin, which I actually prefer here. Pleasant, though I would not call it essential.

The opening is built around Marshmallow and Honey — bright and immediately recognizable. Two sprays are enough — it carries well without shouting. The composition is well made but not for me.
