   I have owned Liquid Brun for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. Right away I get mostly Cinnamon alongside Orange Blossom, fresh and very easy to wear. The heart is the best part for me: Bourbon Vanilla and elemi feel carefully balanced. Projection stays close for the first hour, then becomes a soft, pleasant aura. I would happily buy a full bottle.

   Everyone keeps talking about Liquid Brun, so I finally gave it a proper test. As it settles, Praline and Ambroxan come through and give it real depth. The drydown leans on Praline plus Ambroxan and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. Sadly this one does not work on my skin.

   I keep reaching for Liquid Brun more than I expected to. That first spray gives a lovely Cinnamon/Orange Blossom impression that dries down smoothly. As it settles, Praline and Ambroxan come through and give it real depth. Longevity is moderate and the trail is noticeable without being loud. Easily one of my favourite finds this season.

   A couple of wears in, Liquid Brun has really grown on me. As it settles, Praline and Ambroxan come through and give it real depth. The very first sniff is crisp Cinnamon with Orange Blossom peeking through, very much my kind of start. It wears beautifully in the office; I can still catch it on my scarf at the end of the day. It is fine, but it does not stand out in my collection.

Give it a little time and Bourbon Vanilla with elemi comes forward — smooth and well done. On my skin the performance is reliable, not a beast but far from weak. Worth sampling before committing to a bottle.

I enjoy it when I wear it, yet I rarely think of reaching for it.

I can see its quality, but it simply is not my style.

After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Bourbon Vanilla with elemi, which is where the fragrance really shines. Give it a little time and Bourbon Vanilla with elemi comes forward — smooth and well done. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.
