   For a 2023 release, Althaïr deserves more attention than it gets. As it settles, Praline and Musk come through and give it real depth. That first spray gives a lovely Cinnamon/Orange Blossom impression that dries down smoothly. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

   I’ve been wearing Althaïr on and off for a few weeks now (2023). The drydown leans on Praline plus Musk and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. That first spray gives a lovely Cinnamon/Orange Blossom impression that dries down smoothly. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. This has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.

I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

Give it a little time and Bourbon Vanilla with elemi comes forward — smooth and well done. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

   My first Parfums de Marly experience was this one, Althaïr (2023). Right away I get mostly Cinnamon alongside Orange Blossom, fresh and very easy to wear. The base rests on Praline and Musk — warm, grounded and easy to live with. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. It is fine, but it does not stand out in my collection.
