   I’ve been wearing Sì Intense on and off for a few weeks now (2014). The very first sniff is crisp Black Currant with Cassis peeking through, very much my kind of start. The drydown leans on Vanilla plus Patchouli and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. It wears beautifully in the office; I can still catch it on my scarf at the end of the day. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

   Picked up a sample of Sì Intense after reading the community buzz (2014). The very first sniff is crisp Black Currant with Cassis peeking through, very much my kind of start. Right away I get mostly Black Currant alongside Cassis, fresh and very easy to wear. Projection stays close for the first hour, then becomes a soft, pleasant aura. Pleasant, though I would not call it essential.

   I needed a full wearing before I made my mind up about Sì Intense. As it settles, Vanilla and Patchouli come through and give it real depth. That first spray gives a lovely Black Currant/Cassis impression that dries down smoothly. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. I wanted to like it more than I did.

   For a 2014 release, Sì Intense deserves more attention than it gets. The base rests on Vanilla and Patchouli — warm, grounded and easy to live with. As it settles, Vanilla and Patchouli come through and give it real depth. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

   My first Giorgio Armani experience was this one, Sì Intense (2014). As it settles, Vanilla and Patchouli come through and give it real depth. The drydown leans on Vanilla plus Patchouli and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. I can see its quality, but it simply is not my style.

Give it a little time and May Rose with Osmanthus comes forward — smooth and well done. It projects politely for a couple of hours, then stays close and cosy. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

The opening is built around Black Currant and Cassis — bright and immediately recognizable. It lasts through a full workday on me, which is exactly what I want. I would happily buy a full bottle.

A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.
