Picked up a sample of Hot Couture after reading the community buzz (2000). As it settles, Sandalwood and Amber come through and give it real depth. The drydown leans on Sandalwood plus Amber and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. It wears beautifully in the office; I can still catch it on my scarf at the end of the day. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

A decant of Hot Couture sat in my box for weeks before I finally wore it. The first minutes are all about Raspberry with a hint of Bergamot β€” it grabs attention without being pushy. Give it a little time and Pepper with Vetiver comes forward β€” smooth and well done. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

My first Givenchy experience was this one, Hot Couture (2000). The heart is the best part for me: Pepper and Vetiver feel carefully balanced. The drydown leans on Sandalwood plus Amber and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. It performs better in warmer weather β€” in the heat it opens up nicely. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

A decant of Hot Couture sat in my box for weeks before I finally wore it. The heart is the best part for me: Pepper and Vetiver feel carefully balanced. The first minutes are all about Raspberry with a hint of Bergamot β€” it grabs attention without being pushy. On my skin the performance is reliable, not a beast but far from weak. I enjoy it when I wear it, yet I rarely think of reaching for it.

My first Givenchy experience was this one, Hot Couture (2000). Give it a little time and Pepper with Vetiver comes forward β€” smooth and well done. Right away I get mostly Raspberry alongside Bergamot, fresh and very easy to wear. After a few hours it becomes a soft skin scent with a lovely trail. I enjoy it when I wear it, yet I rarely think of reaching for it.

A decant of Hot Couture sat in my box for weeks before I finally wore it. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Pepper with Vetiver, which is where the fragrance really shines. As it settles, Sandalwood and Amber come through and give it real depth. Projection stays close for the first hour, then becomes a soft, pleasant aura. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

Givenchy knows how to compose, and Hot Couture (2000) is proof. The drydown leans on Sandalwood plus Amber and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. A couple of wears in, Hot Couture has really grown on me. Right away I get mostly Raspberry alongside Bergamot, fresh and very easy to wear. The first minutes are all about Raspberry with a hint of Bergamot β€” it grabs attention without being pushy. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. Full-bottle worthy without a doubt.

Picked up a sample of Hot Couture after reading the community buzz (2000). The first minutes are all about Raspberry with a hint of Bergamot β€” it grabs attention without being pushy. The opening is built around Raspberry and Bergamot β€” bright and immediately recognizable. It projects politely for a couple of hours, then stays close and cosy. This one gets my highest praise β€” beautiful from start to finish.

Everyone keeps talking about Hot Couture, so I finally gave it a proper test. The drydown leans on Sandalwood plus Amber and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. The opening is built around Raspberry and Bergamot β€” bright and immediately recognizable. After a few hours it becomes a soft skin scent with a lovely trail. Worth sampling before committing to a bottle.

A couple of wears in, Hot Couture has really grown on me. The base rests on Sandalwood and Amber β€” warm, grounded and easy to live with. The opening is built around Raspberry and Bergamot β€” bright and immediately recognizable. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. I enjoy it when I wear it, yet I rarely think of reaching for it.
